Choose the first woman Secretary-General, because we're half of the planet's inhabitants and will show that gender equality isn't just words.

I want a UN that’s more action-driven and less driven by words.. Action speaks louder than words. Do what you say and Say what you do... Integrity, Authenticity, Honesty,Respect is what each and every UN staff member should uphold, which is not the current situation. And the UN should stop protecting and promoting useless and badly behaved management. Bad Managers should be rid of.

The security Council reform(s) with a more transparent apparatus at decision making and responsibility sharing can strengthen the UN. It's relevance hasn't been diminished but reforms are seriously required to help this important rule making body respond to contemporary global challenges.

There are several cases of mid-managers that are being promoted in order to get rid of them, because they are underperformers with difficult to deal personalities. So, they go up and up until they become senior management. That is one of the reasons why this organization is failing.

Stop the “Do as I say, but not as I do” attitude. The UN shall start by respecting the Human Rights with its own staff. 1) Right to equal pay for equal work. E.g.: in Bangkok, locally recruited staff sitting side by side doing the same job has salaries with differentials close to 50%. 2) Right to negotiation and collective bargaining. That is a fundamental right contemplated by the ILO. However, UN staff only has right to “consultation”, not “negotiation”.
